Angel Reyes Consulting LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates publichealthpracticum.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information the site handles, where it goes, and what we can and cannot see. In short: the site runs no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking scripts, sets no cookies, has no accounts or forms, and does not collect personal information from visitors. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us by email.

What we collect

Effectively nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter, and no form that submits data anywhere. Fonts are hosted on this site, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service. The site does not embed videos or other content from third parties; links to YouTube and Subthesis are plain links.

If you email angel@subthesis.com, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We keep that correspondence so we can reply and follow up, and we use it only for that purpose.

Help Center search

Search on the Help Center runs entirely in your browser. Your search terms are not sent to us or to any search service. Your search term can appear in the page address (for example, a search for practicum hours can appear as ?q=practicum+hours), and the hosting provider's standard logs may record the addresses of pages requested, including that part. Avoid typing personal details into the search box.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may process technical data about visits, such as your IP address, the pages requested, and browser information, under the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not receive individual visitor logs from GitHub.

Search reports

We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. They give the site owner aggregate reports on how the site appears in search results, such as search queries, impressions, clicks, and average positions. Neither adds any code to this site, and neither tracks individual visitors here.

IndexNow

When pages on the site change, we submit the changed page addresses to IndexNow, a service used by Bing and other participating search engines to learn about updates. Only page addresses are sent. No visitor data is involved.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, and their own privacy policies apply once you follow a link:

Amazon. The Public Health Practicum Logbook is a paperback sold on Amazon and published through Amazon KDP. The site takes no payments. If you buy the book, you give your information to Amazon under its privacy policy. Our Amazon links carry no affiliate or tracking tag, and we cannot see who buys the book or any order details.
YouTube. Links to YouTube open YouTube, where Google's privacy policy applies.
Subthesis. Links to Subthesis, our sister site, are covered by the Subthesis privacy policy.

Cookies and Do Not Track

The site does not set cookies and does not track visitors over time or across other websites. Because there is no tracking to turn off, browser Do Not Track signals and similar settings do not change how the site behaves. This disclosure is provided under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).

Children's privacy

The site is intended for graduate students, faculty, and public health professionals, and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

California residents' rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). In practice, the only personal information we hold is email correspondence.

Right to know: request disclosure of personal information collected, used, or shared about you.
Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we have collected from you.
Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email angel@subthesis.com. We will respond within 45 days and may ask for information to verify your identity.

Data security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because the site collects no visitor data, there is little for us to secure beyond email correspondence. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

International users

The site is operated from the United States. If you contact us, your information may be processed in the United States. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR; email us to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site or in applicable laws. We will post the updated policy here with a new updated date. See also our Terms of Use and Disclaimer.
